| SMUG is a group for Macintosh computer users. Though we focus on the very latest in computer technology (as put forth by Apple Computer), the atmosphere at our club meetings and activities is easy-going, low key and friendly.
We welcome everyone no matter how experienced or inexperienced. If you want to learn about your Macintosh, this is the club for you. Our goal is to provide help, education and support to our members.
We normally meet on the second Thursday of:
- January
- March
- April
- June (exception for June 9, 2009)
- July
- September
- October
- November
The Thursday meetings begin at 6 pm and last until 9 pm at the Saginaw Township Firestation #1, 6171 Shattuck Rd. Map & Directions
Our regular meeting becomes part of MacCamp in the other months:
- Saginaw MacCamps are held on Saturday (dates to be announced) in February and August.
- Midland MacCamps are held on a Saturday (dates to be announced) in May and November.
Our June 2009 meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, June 9th (pease note the day change). This meeting will feature Mary Nesset demonstrating Leopard's speech capabilities. Specific Program Information
Along with the Midland User Group, we also co-sponsor MacCamp throughout the year. These information-packed, hands-on, fun-filled sessions attract a lot of attention. They are free to our members and available to non-members for a $5 fee. Our next MacCamp will take place on August 8th in Saginaw, hosted by SMUG. Detailed information here.
